My Plumber. . . What A Salesman!

Comments (13)

In the 17 years since we had built our home, I had no occasion to call a plumber until now. I opened the Yellow Pages to find a qualified, local plumbing house. There were quite a variety listed but one caught my eye right away, not because of some fancy ad, but because of their phone number, which was displayed in a larger font next to their relatively small logo. I did my due diligence and called three plumbing outfits, seeking pricing on my needed repair. It was once again, back to the folks with the unusual phone number. They were the ones that I would hire. The plumber arrived early the next morning right on time. He was a bit younger than I had expected, but had everything he needed as he had already been advised by the home office as to the nature of my repair. He was neat, clean and friendly. His van had their now familiar logo and phone number painted on the sides. He also had them embroidered on his new looking coveralls. He introduced himself...

Why I Love Ncaa Football

Comments (10)

If you love college ball as much as I do, then I know you re going to want to have all the latest gear from your favorite schools. So I recommend that you try shopping online for your official NCAA football products. With the money you save, you might even be able to attend a couple more games this season. In addition to apparel, there are many other official NCAA football products that I can buy. For example, I like to collect sports memorabilia, and mini helmets are one of the hottest items in that area right now. Because they re so popular, it can be hard to get your hands on one from your favorite school -- if you insist on shopping at malls, that is. I ve never had any problems finding official NCAA football collectibles, including mini helmets, from even the most sought-after teams such as USC, Texas, and Notre Dame. Other popular collectibles include bobblehead figures of star players, mini footballs, and retro jerseys. Along with convenience, there...

Reelmusician - Reel Artist Press Kit Design!

Comments (20)

After reviewing a myriad of artist demos, press kits and bios as a former talent booking agent with the William Morris Agency and founder of ReelMusician.com, I ve decided to write a short article on how you can formulate a workable and eye catching artist bio avoiding too much hype and grabbing the attention of the music industry. As the years have gone by and technology has increased, you would think that bios, press kits and other various articles written for an artist press kit would get better I believe it has gotten easier, but better I m still debating. There are fundamental truths and principles that you should incorporate into your press kit material if you really want to catch the eye of the industry professional and land some real success. There are not as many fast or absolute rules as there are don ts when creating your artist bio. I can tell you from experience, that the creation of an artist press kit is not as easy as one would think...
